Founded in 2019, Halcyon Dance Project is committed to producing unique dance works to the San Francisco Bay area community through residencies, concerts and film.

Halcyon Dance Project offers short residencies for independent choreographers to create new works at BlackBox Studios in Oakland, CA. The residency is intended to offer an opportunity to choreographers who are in need of support by alleviating studio rental expenses, and offering an opportunity to showcase works in progress.
